OUR ETHOS

Crisis Case Management is redefining what recovery looks like for individuals and families in crisis.

Our model is focused on cultivating healthy relationships that support you and your loved ones for the long term.

With CCM, you can rebuild the foundations crucial to helping the whole family heal.

OUR HISTORY

Mike Appel founded CCM in 2000. With over 27 years, he experienced firsthand the limitations of short-term treatment models, Mike wanted to provide a more comprehensive approach to recovery. Crisis Case Management was born as a boutique organization dedicated to providing a suite of behavioral health services such as intervention, case management, treatment placements, safe transport, and sober coaching. When Michael Berba, our now CEO, joined the team in 2011, they united their experience, along with an unparalleled network of expert resources, to enrich CCM’s offerings.

Since then, CCM has evolved into an elite, global case management consultancy specializing in holistic support of families in crisis. Our dedicated team includes interventionists, case managers, coaches, and family recovery specialists. The CCM model provides an entire continuum of care through crisis and beyond.

We are proud to support clients in creating healthier, happier families.

OUR VALUES

At CCM, we strive for excellence in all areas. This isn’t just business – this is personal. When people’s lives are on the line, the highest standards matter

Delivering consistent care over two decades isn’t easy. Our reputation is built on a bedrock of deeply lived ethics. We attribute our sustained success and longevity to the following principles:

OUR PHILOSOPHY

CCM’s core philosophy drives our treatment model.

With over twenty years of experience, we know that it takes a village to heal. Our approach is to transform the family system from the inside out so that individuals in crisis not only recover but can thrive long-term. As the family recovers, so does the patient.

Addiction, substance abuse, and mental health challenges are common manifestations of maladaptive dynamics in the family. Left untreated, these issues take a serious toll on all involved. CCM focuses on identifying critical issues in the system, boundary setting, and effective communication so that these dynamics can shift for the better.

Our goal is to help you rebuild the foundations that empower consistent, steady change.
